There is nothing quite like arriving at an elementary school with a Vocabulary Parade swirling in the halls. Words make you laugh when you see the WRESTLERS, colored in magic marker, boxing in the ring, atop a hat, or a huge green paper snake for SNAKE, everyone laughing and pointing, words flying around the halls with delight. I do not exaggerate. It is always astonishing to see the joy.
